Our Hotel-Garni & Aparthotel Stern in Imst, in Tyrol, is easy and uncomplicated to reach.

By car or motorcycle:

If you are coming from the north: you can reach us toll-free via the Fernpass (B179) and then, from Nassereith, via the Mieminger Bundesstrasse (B189). At the Imst-Nord traffic circle (entrance number 1), please take the first exit and follow the main road. After 250 meters (below the church) you will find our house on the left side. Our free hotel parking lot for our guests is located under the house.

If you are traveling via the Inntal freeway (A12), please take the exit "Imst-Fernpass" and follow the signs to "Fernpass" until you reach the traffic circle Imst-Nord (entrance 1). Drive towards the center. After 250 meters you will find our house on the left hand side.

By train and public transportation:

The train station Imst-Pitztal is about 3 kilometers away from our house. From there, public buses will take you to the center and on to the "Oberstadt" district, where our Hotel-Garni & Aparthotel Stern is located. The nearest bus stop is called "Imst Oberstadt Kirche" and is 50 meters away from us. 

By bike:

Due to our location on the Via Claudia and the Inn Valley cycle path, we are very happy to welcome cyclists and of course have a dry and locked storage facility for your bike. Please note that we cannot accept bikes in our rooms - thank you very much!

On foot:

Your vacation resort Imst is located on several long-distance hiking trails: the Adlerweg, the Starkenberger Panoramaweg or the Jakobsweg. Our house is located in the "Oberstadt". It is best to orientate yourself by our church tower - the highest in Tyrol. 50 meters below the church is our family business.
